1. Traditional chemical heat treatment temperature
Common traditional chemical heat treatment processes include carburizing and nitriding, and the process temperature is determined according to the Fe-C phase diagram and Fe-N phase diagram. The carburizing temperature is about 930 °C, and the nitriding temperature is about 560 °C. The temperature of ion carburizing and ion nitriding is also basically controlled in this temperature range.
2. Low temperature ion chemical heat treatment temperature
Low-temperature ionic chemical heat treatment is a new technology developed in recent years to meet the needs of production development. The low-temperature ion carburizing temperature is usually below 550C, and the low-temperature ion nitriding temperature is usually below 450°C.
3. Application range of low-temperature ionic chemical heat treatment
(1) Stainless steel low-temperature ionochemical heat treatment: the corrosion resistance of the surface of stainless steel after general ionochemical heat treatment is reduced. The use of low-temperature ionic chemical heat treatment can improve the surface hardness on the basis of ensuring that stainless steel products do not rust and still maintain the beautiful decorative effect on the surface.
(2) Low-temperature ionochemical heat treatment of molds: the market requires low-temperature ion nitriding on the surface of heavy-duty molds before depositing hard coatings to form a hardness gradient transition layer between the matrix and the hard coating, thereby effectively improving the impact resistance of the mold; Moreover, in order to ensure good adhesion of the hard coating, the nitriding layer as a hardness gradient transition layer must not only have a bright and clean surface, but also cannot form a white bright compound layer.
The development of high-end processing industry has promoted the birth and development of low-temperature ion chemical heat treatment.
